Q: Why do you quote by lot size and not lawn size?

A: We base our quotes on lot size since accurately measuring lawns via satellite can be challenging due to various factors, and time consuming. Our method involves using the square footage provided by county assessors for the lot, while also considering the average size of the house, driveway, and landscaping. If your property differs significantly in any of these aspects, please make note of it in your request for a quote.

Q: Do I need to be home for Sprinkler Blowout?
A: If you've shut off the water to your sprinklers and drained the line beforehand, it's not mandatory for you to be home during the Sprinkler Blowout process. However, we highly recommend your presence to ensure everything goes smoothly. Additionally, please ensure that the valve boxes are easily accessible and well-marked to facilitate our service team's work efficiently. Your cooperation is appreciated as we strive to provide the best possible service for your irrigation system.

Q: Are your fertilizers kid/pet safe?
A: At Ez Aeration, we prioritize safety and eco-friendliness in our lawn care practices. We refrain from using weed killers or pesticides that could pose harm to pets or children. However, it's important to note that while our fertilizers are safe, we recommend avoiding direct ingestion. To ensure utmost safety, we advise watering the fertilizer thoroughly before allowing pets or children onto the treated yard area

Q: Do I need power raking?
A: If there's a layer of thatch measuring 1/2 inch or more in thickness on the lawn's surface, it's a strong indicator that dethatching may be needed. To check for this, use a rake or a garden tool to gently part the grass and measure the thickness of the thatch layer at various spots across the lawn. If it consistently measures 1/2 inch or thicker, it's likely time for dethatching to prevent issues with water penetration, nutrient absorption, and overall lawn health.
